A cute cafe and bread bakery on Clanbrasil St owned by Gilles Gaillot and Emma Gray. Before this, the French – Irish couple were selling their selling pizza from a small van in Greystones.
Every morning the crew bakes a batch of fresh sourdough loaves – which promptly sell out. Preserves from the nearby Assassination Custard and some local honey are normally on sale too. Breakfast options are limited to sourdough toast and french style pastries. Coffee is by Baobab Coffee Roasters and there are ‘Intelligent Teas‘ available.
By night, the venue sells French style pizza (with emmenthal cheese) from the brick oven. There are some nice wines to be had also.
Seating is limited at Gaillot et Grey, there’s stools along the front window, a large communal table and a couple of smaller ones. However, there is a pleasant courtyard which catches the sun all day.
