The Boojum chain continues to expand at a rapid rate, with the popular burrito bar set to open a new store in the coming months.
The site, formerly a cafe, is located where Saint Augustine St meets Thomas St in Dublin 8 – just a stone’s throw from colleges NACAD and BIMM, as well as tourist sites such as Guinness and Christchurch Cathedral.
The new branch will be the 9th Boojum to open in Dublin with more in Belfast, Galway, Cork and Limerick.
The chain was started in 2007 years ago by Northern Ireland-based couple John and Karen Blisard but has since been sold to a private equity firm.
Boojum says of its food:
“The menu is simple and has changed little since we opened, focusing on burritos, tacos and a small number of other traditional Mexican street dishes.”
