First Draft Coffee in Temple Bar have teamed up with Dublin Drinks Coffee to publish the second edition of the ‘Dublin Speciality Coffee Map’.
The map features 30 city centre cafes such as Vice Coffee Inc, Two Pups and Camerino where much love and attention is put into every coffee served.
First Draft is a key member of the ‘Speciality coffee Association of Europe’ (SCAE), which defines what it does as
“Inspiring Coffee Excellence through innovation, education, research and most importantly, communication.”
Owner of the Temple Bar cafe and barista school, Ger O’Donohoe, was also on the committee for recently-launched ‘Ireland Independent Coffee Guide’. Co-author of the map, which goes on sale today, is Anna from Dublin Drink’s Coffee – the foremost authority on where to get a decent caffeine fix in Ireland’s capital. She also writes a regular column in the digital magazine ‘The Taste’.
Dublin-based illustrator Ruan van Vliet designed the map. Coffee enthusiasts might recognise his artwork from the walls and window graphics at Kaph, on Drury St.
It is available now in hotels, restaurants and cafes across Dublin or can be ordered online here.
