Chef /barista duo, Magda and Dominik, behind Vagabond Coffee are cooking a six-course meal at House of Salads this Saturday.
You might recognise the pair from their coffee stall at various markets around Dublin or their pop-up cafe in a Temple bar barbers shop. This time they bring you a selection of vegetarian Polish dishes from 1pm, this Saturday.
Dominik has worked as a barista at Two Pups Coffee and Coffee Angel and Magda brings ten years of chef experience, from both Ireland and Poland, to the table. In case you haven’t heard of it, The House of Salads is a restaurant on Richmond St, Dublin 2 (near the Bernard Shaw). No prizes for guessing what the venue specialises in.
Saturday’s menu includes:
Homemade Bread with Horseradish Butter
Root Vegetable Salad
Celery Pate with Pickled Cucumber and Horseradish Sauce
Creamy White Vegetable Soup
Potato, Polish Cheese and Onion dumplings
There’s Apple Pie with Fresh Fruit Compote and Square Mile Coffee also.
Tickets are €15. Reservation by email: vagabondcoffeedublin@gmail
